Sees With His Heart

It's always a little scary when a new school year starts. I mean I'm really excited about learning new things and meeting new friends, but at the same time… I get a little anxious. You know… butterflies in my stomach and my heart beating a little faster than usual. I like new people, but meeting them can be a little weird, right? Will they like me? Will I like them? I notice that I get a first impression in my mind when I meet someone new. Do you know what that is? It's when you make up your mind about what another person might be like when you first see them. I am learning that what I SEE with my eyes doesn't always tell the whole story. We are a lot more alike than we think! Come read my book and see!

	I have a clown fish named Leo, and I can't wait to study all kinds of ocean life when I grow up! I live with my mom and dad. I don't have any brothers or sisters. I love to read all about the ocean and visit an aquarium when we go on vacation. I am learning that people are very different and that's a good thing! I like learning how we all fit together!
